The Pearsall Family DNA – Surname
Project
PEARSALL FAMILY DNA SURNAME PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT:
April
14, 2007 – YHRD.org
recently updated their Y-DNA database (release 21). The database contains
51,253 Haplotypes in 447 populations (up 59 populations since the last
update). A search of their updated database using our Haplogroup E3b markers
revealed two matches worldwide; one in Germany
and another in Belarus.
There a high number and variety of one-step mutation haplotype neighbors
indicate a number of clusters in Germany and the Balkans. Additionally,
several one-step neighbors found in Latin America
which may indicate historical German migration.
